The company specializes in all phases of the research process, including study design, patient recruitment, epidemiologic methods, data management, biostatistical analysis, and scientific writing. Via Research was founded by Elane M. Gutterman, PhD, who has more than 25 years of health research experience in academic and corporate settings and currently serves as the president and principal epidemiologist of the company. The Via Research team is comprised of the principal and senior epidemiologists, a biostatistician and data manager, a business manager, and in-country research associates. With a highly motivated and specialized team, Via Research maintains the research competencies of a larger company, without the associated bureaucracy and delays.
